I write for those who were not offended. As a first-term legislator, I know that God has sent to Augusta to work for the people and the state. I do not intend to seek the role. But Jesus has better plans and so I'm here. I think I'm in Augusta to talk about his name.
What a surprise to discover that our legislature is not a spiritual desert. The weekly prayer legislative caucus is a time of bonding and fellowship before going out and doing the necessary work and hard.
In the last five months, I pointed out during periods of work of the committee that many not all of us subscribe to the interpretation of the separation of church and state. In fact, I never found the words in our Constitution.
