Unusual Pets Keep Animal Shelter on its Toes

Ramone was shot in the Animal Control Baltimore County and shelter after his owner died. It is a common fate for many animals, but animal Ramone is not ordinary.

Animal control officers found the boa constrictor from 10 feet long in a large cage in the home of its owner.

"We were unable to get the cage out of the house because it was so great, so we had to use a pole Ramone wrap itself around him out," said Linda Flavin, an officer monitoring animals. "It was so great that it barely fit in her cage at the shelter.
