Religious gift shop opens at Queen of Heaven

What began as Queen of Heaven idea Pastor David R. Durkee's to create a store of new and used books and a free lending library for spiritual reading, turned into a multipurpose gift shop religious.

From a book store, the scope expanded in a nice way to recycle the religious objects. Individuals who have been gifted an overabundance of religious objects or not having a need or desire to keep them, have given. The donated items included religious art, figurines, crucifixes, books, planters, candles and rosaries.

Precious Moments Nativity Figurine Sets for the Holidays

The legacy of Precious Moments began over 30 years ago through the creative hands of Sam Butcher. It started out as gifts to family and friends, but now the Precious Moments children figures are some of the most well recognized artwork in the world. In the early 1970s, Sam and his friend Bill Biel started a company called Jonathan & David to produce cards and posters based on Sam’s Precious Moments characters.
